Additional coverage recommended to protect government contractors from unexpected loss
General Liability
Injury and property damage
Business operations on your physical location(s) or client location(s) may foster claims including bodily injury, property damage, personal injury and others that may lead to costly defense costs or judgments.

Automobile Liability
Auto coverage for injury and damage
Protecting the corporate financial position against physical damage (car or other property) and personal injury to the driver or other vehicle occupants is key to corporate survival.  Auto liability affords coverage to business owned vehicles, those used by employees for business, and when selected, uninsured/under-insured motorists against financial loss.
Workers' Compensation
Medical payments and lost wages
Work related injuries happen everyday.  Workers' compensation allows worker confidence when performing business operations. Protecting financial and medical costs, this coverage enables businesses to function without fear of costly claims related to worker injury or illness.  Mandated by most states, workers compensation is a requirement for primes and sub-contractors.
Property
Protect your physical assets
Building insurance, business property, tools and equipment required to perform operations are all subject to loss, theft, or damage.  Insuring physical property enables your company peace of mind for replacement or reimbursement.
Umbrella
An additional layer of protection
Adding an another layer of financial protection to your business insurance policies enhances limits that may be too low for a variety of unforeseen loses.  This includes general liability, automobile liability, and employers liability policies.
Employment Practices
Discrimination, wrongful termination
Wrongful termination, discrimination accusations, EEOC complaints, all challenge human resource departments across the country.  Adding this coverage affords the financial support needed when legal defense is required.
Directors & Officers
Qui Tam (Whistleblower) and contract litigation
Each decision and financial consideration may be a challenge to the Board of Directors.  Protecting the personal assets of your board members against claims of over-pricing (whistle-blower) or sub-contractor contract termination may all lead to costly legal demands and defense.
Malware, Ransomware, cyber extortion
Malware, ransomware, and social engineering have plagued the government contractor sector for years.  Providing financial protection and expert assistance before and after a cyber attack can mean the difference between survival or corporate demise.
Professional Liability
Error, Omission, Negligence of work
We are all human and prone to mistakes.  Protecting your company against errors or omissions from professional team is critical when faced with an allegation of wrongdoing.  Legal defense can cost thousands.  Professional liability places the burden on the shoulders of the insurance company.

Insurance programs to meet the unique needs of Government & Defense Contractors
Foreign Casualty
Injury and property damage on foreign soil
Working overseas?  Foreign liability works like to general liability here in the US, however it affords coverage worldwide.  Often purchased for protection against damage to property or injury, this insurance is standard for companies engaged in foreign work.

Key Man
Unexpected loss of life or disability
Losing a executive or business development professional that provides the foundation for sales or operations could be devastating for some companies.  Key Man provides financial relief to an organization with a life and/or disability program that lists the company as the beneficiary.

Business Travel Accident
Insuring against medical loss or evacuation from a foreign country
Traveling on business or for coverage to compliment Defense Base Act insurance, business travel accident (BTA) provides a financial limit used for unexpected medical costs, evacuation to another country to the US or another for expert medical care.  BTA is also used to compliment DBA insurance for claims associated with outside work activities not covered by DBA
Protect your physical assets
Required for all US Government contracts for work overseas, DBA insurance is similar to workers' compensation.  Protecting workers against medical costs and lost wages, DBA insurance must be part of any GovCon company with operations in foreign countries.  Note:  DBA is NOT 24 hour coverage.
Aviation Liability
Insurance specific to aviation
Aircraft in any form is excluded from the general liability policy.  As a result, aviation operations can be provided insurance for hull, hangar operations, and damage to aircraft by selecting specific coverage designed for these exposures.   Workers' compensation is also provided by aviation liability insurance carriers due to its unique nature.
Discrimination, wrongful termination
Bonds are oftentimes required by the US government before a contract can commence.  Additionally, a prime may require a sub-contractor to guarantee their work with a bond regarding overall performance against financial loss.  Bond qualification can be quick and easy provided financials are available and a clear work plan is in place.
Employee Benefits
Qui Tam (Whistleblower) and contract litigation
Government contractors face a wide variety of employee benefit issues and cost hurdles.  Planning benefit purchasing options for Service Contract Act employees versus other contract types can offset costs a great deal, as well as reducing workers compensation costs and some state level tax burdens.
World Wide Medical
Malware, Ransomware, cyber extortion
Do you have employees that are working overseas, but dependents still in the United States?  World wide medical may be solution for covering both.  Employee benefit programs are not applicable in foreign countries.  An alternate type of insurance is necessary for worker exposure to routine medical treatment and possibly transport.
Maritime Liability
Error, Omission, Negligence of work
Contracts involving worker placed on ships or other water borne vessels, require maritime liability to coverage against physical damage and injury suffered by ship personnel.  Considered an endorsement to most general liability or foreign liability programs, awareness is key as it may not be specifically identified in a contract.
